HARTRON having the distinction of being the first organization to undertake the elector's photo identity cards project in India, has been designated as the State Level Agency for election related jobs i.e. preparation of elector's photo identity cards, preparation of electoral rolls, photo electoral rolls, software development for Haryana, Punjab and Union Territory, Chandigarh.

The identity cards project, is the largest database application in India, wherein the details of voters are maintained alongwith their photographs. The Corporation is also executing the work of computerization of electricity bills of UHBVPN and DHBVPN and also executing the job of computerization of organizations like Haryana Staff Selection Commission and many more. The Corporation has more than 200 computers at its disposal to handle this large volume of data preparation and processing jobs.
