REMOTE SENSING APPLICATION CENTER INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE

Survey and mapping of natural resources using remote sensing technique, research and development work, training of scientists/officers/ faculty members and students in the field of remote sensing.
To assist Madhya Pradesh sate in the development and management activities/programmes related to crop monitoring, land use mapping, water resources, mineral resources survey, ground water targeting, monitoring of watershed development programme, forest mapping, analysis of environmental impact etc. using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
